Argentina & Chile Gems with Torres del Paine

• Full-Day Iguazú Falls Argentine side

In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel to spend the day exploring the Argentine side of Iguazú National Park, which covers 677 km².

The falls are surrounded by a subtropical forest with exuberant vegetation, home to many different species of wildlife such as toucans, parrots and coatis, just to name a few. Different walkways distributed across three trails (Upper, Lower, and Devil’s Throat) will allow you to get close to the waterfalls from many different perspectives. You will be amazed by the force of millions of liters of water falling at different heights.

To reach the famous Devil’s Throat, the most imposing waterfall, we will take the ecological train, so you will save a bit of energy to continue exploring the park.

At the end of the excursion, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

• Half-Day The Argentine Dinner Experience

In the evening, you will make your own way to the Argentine Experience in Iguazú to enjoy a unique night with a fun culinary experience. Experience rich Argentine culture through food: taste local dishes, drink exceptional wine, and mingle with fellow travelers from around the world.

The tasting menu consists of five dishes, giving you an introduction to traditional local specialties, paired with three selected wines, each from the country’s most celebrated wine regions. Additionally, you will learn how to properly seal an empanada and prepare your own mate while sharing stories with other travelers from around the world. At the end of the experience, you will need to make your own way back to the hotel.

• Transfer El Calafate Airport / El Chaltén Hotel

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in El Chaltén.

El Chaltén, known as Argentina’s trekking capital, is a charming village nestled in the heart of Los Glaciares National Park in southern Patagonia. Surrounded by stunning peaks like Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre, it’s a paradise for hikers, climbers, and nature lovers. Crystal-clear rivers, turquoise lagoons, and vast Patagonian landscapes make every trail unforgettable.

Despite its small size, El Chaltén offers cozy lodges, local breweries, and a welcoming mountain-town atmosphere. It’s the perfect gateway to explore some of Patagonia’s most breathtaking natural wonders.

• Day at leisure in El Chalten

Today, our recommendation for is going on a Hike to Laguna Capri.

This walk begins with a gentle slope on one of the banks of the Río de las Vueltas valley, where El Chaltén is located. You will walk through part of the Patagonian forest, made up mostly of Lengas and Ñires trees. During the tour you can see Magellan Woodpeckers.

Upon reaching Laguna Capri, we will sit on the beaches of the lagoon to contemplate and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. From Laguna Capri you get fantastic views of Mount Fitz Roy in the distance.

We will then return by the same path to El Chalten

• Transfer Chaltén Hotel / Calafate Hotel

At the appropriate time, you will be picked up to board a bus to go from your hotel in El Chaltén to your hotel in El Calafate.

• Day at leisure in El Calafate

Today you will have a free day in the city.

• Full-Day Safari Azul to Perito Moreno Glacier

We will pick you up from your hotel to head to Los Glaciares National Park. We will arrive at Bajo las Sombras Port, just 7 km from the walkways, where we will embark to cross Lake Rico for 20 minutes until we disembark on the opposite shore.

Accompanied by the guide, we will walk along the lake shore for 30 minutes, observing the south face of the Perito Moreno Glacier, keeping an eye out for possible calving events, enjoying the scenery, and taking photos.

We will return to the embarkation point through a dense forest, and then navigate again to appreciate the southern face of the glacier from the water, just a few meters away.

Upon returning to the port, we will take the bus to the park walkways, where we will have 2 hours to enjoy the incredible panoramic view.
If you wish to have lunch after the tour, the park has a service area with a restaurant and a snack bar. After exploring, we will take you back to your hotel.

• Shuttle El Calafate Hotel / Las Torres Hotel

At the scheduled time, you will have a shuttle transfer from your hotel in El Calafate to Las Torres Hotel in Torres del Paine.

Upon arriving at Hotel Las Torres, the staff will explain everything you need to know about your stay and itinerary.

Depending on your arrival time, you may take part in a half-day excursion, such as a short walk through the Lenga forest, horseback riding, or a visit to the organic garden.

• Choose an excursion included in the Las Torres program

Have you decided what to do today? We recommend: Trekking to the Base Torres Viewpoint Take the park’s main trail to a famous viewpoint, where you can marvel at the slender granite peaks that give the national park its name.

The excursion begins at Hotel Las Torres, where we will start a hike through the Ascencio Valley. Along the way, we will cross a beautiful lenga forest and later reach a rocky area known as La Morrena, the most challenging section of the trail, before arriving at the spectacular Base Torres Viewpoint. After enjoying a snack and some time for photography, we will return to the hotel along the same trail.

• Choose an excursion included in the Las Torres program

Today, we recommend something a bit more relaxed: Full Paine with Grey Lake.

This excursion truly lives up to its name by giving guests the fullest introduction to Torres del Paine National Park in the shortest amount of time. This road trip into the heart of the park features stops at scenic overlooks, short hikes to natural landmarks, and a wonderful lake cruise to Grey Glacier. Stops along the way include Puente Negro (Black Bridge), Nordenskjöld Lookout, Sarmiento Lookout, Lake Pehoé and Salto Grande waterfall.

After enjoying a gourmet lunch, you will have the choice of a hike along the southern shore of Grey Lake to a point where you can gaze down at icebergs or take a boat trip across the length of the lake to imposing Grey Glacier, which tumbles down from the massive Southern Patagonia Ice Field.

This navigation is optional and is not included in the All-Inclusive programs. The Catamaran is for 100 people and the cruise takes around three hours. It is offered by an external company; therefore, Las Torres Hotel does not take any responsibility for cancellations due to weather conditions or technical issues.

Time to say goodbye to Torres del Paine!

At the appropriate time, a shared transfer will take you to Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas or El Calafate to continue your journey.

Depending on your departure time, you may participate in a half-day excursión.

• Transfer Santiago de Chile Airport / Santiago de Chile Hotel

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Santiago de Chile.

• Half-Day City Tour & San Cristobal Hill

At the agreed time, we will pick you up at your hotel to visit the historic center of the city. We will visit the Plaza de la Constitución where the “La Moneda” palace, the current seat of government, is located. We continue on foot to the Plaza de Armas, surrounded by the Metropolitan Cathedral, the palace of the Royal Audience, the Central Post Office and other buildings of historical interest as well as the Central Market. From there we continue by vehicle to San Cristobal Hill where we take the cable car (or ecological bus or funicular) to the summit to appreciate a wonderful panoramic view of the entire city.

At the end of the tour, we will return to your hotel.
