Day 1
Salinas grandes is one of the most spectacular landscapes of Jujuy! Upon arrival, a local guide will be waiting at the entrance to the Salinas. You will travel 5 miles through the white desert right into the heart of the saltflats.
On the way, the guide will tell you about the culture of the local community you are visiting, the geography of Salinas Grandes, and how this glamping experience helps preserve the environment and develop local economies.
Enjoy the first afternoon in this paradise by taking a personalized photo tour (1 hour) and then prepare to enjoy sunset on a hotub or tasting local gastronomy inside the Lobby of the main domo.
End the day with a special Andean dinner and learn about constellations in a privileged clair sky. A guide will use a laser to show you stars and other sky marvels.
Day 2
Enjoy breakfast looking at the sunrise and prepare to spend the day exploring Barrancas and archeological area near the Salinas.
After 2 hours, you will reach Barrancas where a local guide will be waiting to start the archeological tour. Enjoy the “Piedra Mapa” circuit and discover local paintings and engravings.
At midday, go picnic and enjoy gourmet dishes conceived by our head chef. End the day visiting the Archeological Interpretative Center in the town of Barrancas. After the visit, we will drive you back to the domos.
Enjoy the magical sunset, prepare for another fabulous dinner and a night of rest beneath the starlit sky.
