Day 1

Start of Your Honeymoon - Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires at night

  • Transfer from Ezeiza airport to hotel

Welcome to Argentina! Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the day to enjoy at your own pace.

Buenos Aires is a marvelous and furious cosmopolitan city, full of colors and different kinds of architecture. Capital of Argentina and described as the Paris of South America, Buenos Aires proudly embraces this title, as well as showing off plenty of its own culture! Argentines are usually eager to host visitors: if you walk the streets with a map, someone will surely stop and ask if you need directions. That’s our spirit! So, for this first day, feel free to wander the cobblestone streets lined with outdoor cafes, enjoy the mouthwatering aroma of prized Argentine beef sizzling on an open “parrilla” (barbecue) and browse the local antique and artisan markets that offer plenty of bargain shopping. And to travel deeper and have a firm grip of the Argentine spirit, find the perfect leather jacket or handbag (Buenos Aires is home to some excellent local designers) and explore the colorful Palermo Soho neighborhoods.

At the end of the tour, you will have a transfer back to your hotel.

  • Fogon Asado Experience Dinner

In the evening, you will go on your own to the Palermo neighbourhood for a 9-course tasting BBQ menu, paired with wine.

Half-Day Cooking Class - Bariloche

Group of tourist cooking with Lucas Mallman in Bariloche

  • Half-Day Cooking with Lucas Mallman

At the appropriate time, we will pick you up at your hotel to take you on a cooking Experience.

You will be able to enjoy dinner & to cook with tasty wine, at Lucas Mallman’s house. Mallman’s family philosophy will always be “wherever and whenever you can make a fire, you can make a meal”, so cooking outdoors can be a good reminder that you do not need an expensive barbecue grill to prepare good meals! Lucas is a Patagonian chef, and you might have heard talk about his uncle Francis. All their family loves Argentinean Patagonia and love simple cooking with the right products, to taste the natural food flavour, like trout with just salt and lemon, without adding a lot of spices. The most important thing is knowing that this is an experience, not a traditional cooking class; Lucas will not teach you like a teacher, he will give you some instructions and then it is all about enjoying dinner like a local! You can get involved at any time of the meal process: if you want to put the trout on the fire, cut vegetables or if you just want to see, chat and relax.

At the end of the Experience, we will take you back to your hotel.

Day at Leisure - Bariloche

Kayaking in mascardi lake on bariloche

Day at leisure to enjoy the magnificent scenery of Bariloche. Visit a chocolate factory, walk along the lakeshore, or take one of the many optional tours available in the area.

  • Optional Tour – Rafting in Manso River

For your leisure day in Bariloche, we suggest an optional excursion to go rafting on the Manso River within Nahuel Huapi National Park.

The journey begins with a drive along the iconic National Route 40, which stretches from the north to the south of Argentina, offering breathtaking views as we pass by Lakes Gutierrez, Mascardi, and Guillelmo. We’ll make a stop to visit a Native American Mapuche community, where you’ll enjoy a traditional breakfast (maté or tea, along with homemade fried bread and marmalade) and gain insights into their unique culture and traditions—a truly immersive and personal experience.

Following this cultural encounter, we’ll embark on our rafting adventure, navigating the emerald waters of the Manso River. For approximately an hour, you’ll tackle medium-intensity rapids against the stunning backdrop of this enchanting valley. If the weather permits, there may be a chance to take a refreshing swim.

On our return, we’ll stop for lunch at the historic El Viejo Almacén restaurant. After this enriching 10-hour experience, we’ll drive you back to Bariloche.

Welcome to Salta

salta-tour-argentina

  • Transfer Bariloche Hotel / Bariloche Airport

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight.

  • Transfer Salta Airport / Salta Hotel

Welcome to Salta!
Upon arrival in Salta you will be transferred to your hotel.

Salta has it all: the geographical diversity (green, red and brown mountains) and the historical richness. Do not forget that, in these lands, one day they fought for the independence of Argentina! It also has exquisite and well-preserved colonial architecture, picturesque and very crowded cafes in the main square (a great place to sit and watch the locals in their daily hustle and bustle!), and the characteristic and fun peñas, places where Salteños sit and listen to their local folklore idols, and then end up dancing (after one or two encouraging glasses of wine) together.

The perfect base to explore the Argentinian Northern area is Salta city

Keep in mind that religion is very important here: religiously speaking, people take a siesta in Salta… so between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. it will be more difficult for you to find the places open, so take advantage of it to take your first northern siesta!

The area is covered by thick vegetation, mainly cacti that measure almost 10 feet high once they turn 250 or 300 years old. The magical town of Cachi, the highest area of the valleys, is a village at the foot of the snowy mountain (3928 m.a.s.l.) that bears the same name. The town stands out for its old colonial-style houses that are located on the edge of narrow cobbled streets, its church dating from the 18th century, and is known for its floor, ceiling, and cactus wood furniture and its adobe walls.

In addition, the town has an important Anthropological Museum, where the history of indigenous civilizations is exhibited in almost 5,000 pieces.

After lunch, we return to the city of Salta, driving along the Quebrada de las Conchas that originated in the Tertiary Age, 70 million years ago, and divides the Lerma Valley and the Calchaqui Valley. Wind erosion has formed a succession of capricious natural phenomena such as Los Castillos, El Obelisco, El Fraile, El Sapo, El Amphitheater (with excellent acoustics), and Garganta del Diablo (The Devil’s Throat), a deep and narrow canyon.
