Today, visit one of the valley´s wineries, participate in a shared guided tour of its facilities and vineyards, learn about the wine production of this region, and enjoy a wine tasting. This is a wine region known for its white varieties, especially Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

Day 4

Visit Easter Island’s famous “Moais”

Chile destination, the archeological sites of Eastern Island.

 

  • Full-day visit to archeological sites and Anakena Beach

Your first visit to Easter Island will be to the archeological site of Vaihu. You’ll be driven from your hotel to the southern coast where  In the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel to go to the southern coast of the island, the archaeological un-restored site of Vaihu.

Prepare to visit Akahanga, where the famous king Hotu Matua is supposedly buried. Then, reach Volcano Rano Raraku, the most important and greatest attraction of Easter Island. Many “moais” were carved here, and many remain unfinished in this place. 

Then, head to the famous “moais” of Ahu Tongariki, there are 15 of them, aligned, still standing, and watching the island. End the day on a golden-sand beach, the Anakena Beach. Take a relaxing bath or a walk under the colossal palm trees before heading back to your hotel.

On your last visit to Easter Island, you will be picked up early in the morning to reach Tahai, a ceremonial site with observable remains of the Rapana Nui culture. This 4-hour tour continues with a visit to Ahu Akivi (a platform with 7 restored moai) and the cave Ana Te Pahu. Finally, visit the quarry of Puna Pau where the Pukao (topknots of the moai) were carved. At the end of the experience, we will drive you to your hotel in Hanga Roa.
