At the scheduled time, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the Montevideo bus station for your journey to Colonia del Sacramento. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to your hotel.

As a UNESCO World Heritage site, it offers a glimpse into Uruguay’s rich history with its historic quarter, quaint shops, and riverside views. • Enjoy your Day discovering Colonia 

Today, we’ll pick you up from your hotel for a guided walking tour through the historic district of Colonia del Sacramento. Founded by the Portuguese in 1680, this area is full of history and charm. We’ll visit key landmarks such as the City Gates, the Street of Sighs, the Main Square, the ruins of San Francisco Church, the Lighthouse, the Governor’s House, and the Basilica of the Holy Sacrament.

This tour offers an in-depth look at the town’s rich heritage, which earned it UNESCO World Heritage status in 1995.

After the tour, we’ll take you back to your hotel.

• Cross the river to Argentina 

At the scheduled time, you will be picked up from your hotel in Colonia and transferred by private service to the port, where you will board a shared ferry to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival at the Buenos Aires Port, a private transfer will take you to your hotel.

• City tour & Tango Show 

Today, your guide will pick you up from your hotel to explore Buenos Aires’ key attractions. Delve into the local lifestyle, culture, and music as you visit iconic landmarks.

Your journey begins at Plaza de Mayo, where you’ll admire the Casa Rosada and the Congress building. The tour then takes you through various neighborhoods, including the historic streets of San Telmo, the vibrant energy of La Boca, and the refined elegance of Recoleta. In Recoleta, visit the famous cemetery, the final resting place of notable figures such as Eva Perón. After the tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.

In the evening, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to an iconic venue to experience the passion of Argentine tango. This captivating dance embodies the country’s cultural heritage and emotional depth.

• Enjoy your Free Day in Buenos Aires 

Enjoy a day at your own pace in Buenos Aires. If you’re interested, consider a visit to the Pampas, where you can explore a working ranch in San Antonio de Areco, located about 1 hour and 45 minutes from the city. Known as the birthplace of the gauchos, this charming town offers an authentic glimpse into the life of Argentine cowboys.

This excursion is not included in your itinerary, but we can arrange it for you upon request.

• Transfer from your hotel to Buenos Aires Airport

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred by private service to Jorge Newbery Airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazú. Upon arrival, enjoy a transfer to your hotel in semi-private service.

This charming town is the gateway to the breathtaking Iguazú Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take the day to relax and immerse yourself in the tropical climate and lush jungle surroundings.

• Walk around the Iguazu Falls National Park

Today, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to Iguazú National Park on the Argentine side. The falls are nestled in a lush subtropical forest, home to diverse wildlife. Your guide will help you spot creatures like toucans, parrots, and coatis along the way.

Walk along various paths and walkways that bring you close to the majestic waterfalls. The Argentine side offers numerous viewpoints, allowing you to admire the falls from different angles. One of the highlights is the “Devil’s Throat,” the largest and most awe-inspiring of the falls. To reach it, you’ll take the ecological train and walk along boardwalks that lead you to breathtaking views.

After exploring and capturing stunning photos of the waterfalls, wildlife, and surrounding plants, you’ll have some free time to enjoy lunch in this spectacular setting. This 7-hour tour is a must to fully experience the power and beauty of Iguazú Falls.

• Cross the border and explore Foz de Iguaçu National Park 

This morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to Foz do Iguaçu National Park in Brazil. Don’t forget your passport! While Argentina has the majority of the falls, Brazil offers the best panoramic views.

At the park entrance, you’ll board a bus with your guide, who will take you to the falls. Take your time to explore the various walkways and feel the mist on your face. Walk along the Salto Santa María boardwalk and get close to the Devil’s Throat to truly experience the power of the water.

After the tour, the bus will return you to the park entrance, and you’ll be driven back to your hotel.

At the scheduled time, you’ll be transferred to Foz do Iguaçu Airport for your flight. Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, a private transfer will take you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring this vibrant city or relaxing on its beautiful beaches.

• Half-Day Adventure to Sugar Loaf Mountain

Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel and head to the Urca neighborhood, where Sugar Loaf Mountain awaits. Your adventure begins with a cable car ride to Urca Hill, 705 feet above sea level, offering breathtaking views of Guanabara Bay, its islands, the Rio-Niterói bridge, and Corcovado Hill.

Next, board a second cable car that takes you to the summit of Sugar Loaf, reaching 1,296 feet. From here, enjoy panoramic views of Copacabana Beach, the Santa Cruz Fortress, and the beaches of Niterói.

After taking in the spectacular scenery, you’ll be transported back to your hotel.

• Half-Day Corcovado 

Depart from the hotel to visit the Christ Statue, elected as one of the seven modern wonders of the world. The statue sits 2,300 ft. above sea level, atop Corcovado Mountain. Following a scenic drive along the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, we will arrive at the bottom, where we embark on a small train that climbs the beautiful mountainside. Upon reaching the top, visitors will experience a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro and discover why it is known as the “Marvelous City”!

• Transfer from your Hotel to the Airport 

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from your hotel to Rio de Janeiro Airport for your flight back home.
