- Half-Day Mama Seledonia Cooking Experience
We will pick you up from your hotel for a cooking experience.
Mama Seledonia lives her passion for creating dishes that blend flavor, tradition, and creativity. Led by its founder, Seledonia Montalvo, her team works with dedication to offer unforgettable recipes and exceptional service. But Mama Seledonia’s impact goes beyond the kitchen; her efforts extend to supporting single mothers from vulnerable communities. These women, talented in the culinary arts, find in this initiative an opportunity to overcome the barriers that prevent them from accessing dignified employment.
We invite you to uncover the secrets of Seledonia’s cuisine in an experience that combines flavor and purpose. We will begin with a fascinating gastronomic tour of the local Cascaparo market, where we will explore the native ingredients of our region in Cusco. Then, we will select the finest products together and head to Seledonia’s kitchen, where we will take part in preparing the chosen dishes. We will conclude this journey with a delightful tasting—more than just a meal, it is an act of solidarity that transforms lives.
At the end, we will take you back to your hotel.

- Half-Day Walking City Tour
Today, we will pick you up from your hotel to visit the city of Cusco, known as the Imperial City and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This walking tour of Cusco offers history, culture and art.
The Main Square is a must, where we will see the colonial architecture that remains intact to this day, but its history is much older since it used as foundations the walls of Inca enclosures. Also located in the square is the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city. It was built by the Spanish on top of the palace of the Inca Huiracoha. Its interior houses a wonderful collection of colonial art composed of goldsmith pieces and representative canvases of the Cusco School.
Within walking distance is the Koricancha, which during the Tahuantinsuyo was a center of worship to the Sun and on which later the convent of Santo Domingo was built as part of the evangelization process. Its baroque facade built on the solid Inca walls perfectly summarizes the syncretism of cultures in Cusco. The route will take us uphill through beautiful narrow streets to San Blas, the city’s bohemian neighborhood par excellence, known for being home to local artists’ craft workshops. It’s the perfect place to shop and take something special of this magical city with us!
