- Full-Day Perito Moreno Glacier
We will pick you up from your hotel to take you to Los Glaciares National Park, located 47 km from El Calafate. Your guide will show you the various walkways in front of the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier, where towering walls of ice shimmer in shades of blue and, if you are lucky, you may witness dramatic ice calving. You will start from the main balcony and then have free time to wander and admire the glacier at your own pace until the agreed meeting time with your guide. After exploring the park, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Today you will meet Gabo, who opens the doors of his home and kitchen for a unique and warm gastronomic experience in El Calafate. The host proposes to get to know this city, its people, and its places from the point of view of a local person.

The homemade menu includes:
Starter: Vegetable cream soup.
Main course: Braised lamb (4 hours of cooking in white wine) with wedge potatoes or Lamb pie (Lamb, caramelized onion, mushrooms, sweet potato, and Malbec).
Dessert: White chocolate brownie with Calafate ice cream.
Mineral water + non-alcoholic drink or three-step pairing (Patagonian wineries).
Vegetarian option: Ricotta and spinach Malfatti in almond cream.
- Minitrekking on Perito Moreno Glacier (Optional Tour)
Embark on an unforgettable adventure as you trek across the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier. This guided excursion offers a unique opportunity to explore the glacier’s stunning ice formations, including crevasses, seracs, and deep blue lagoons. After a scenic boat ride across Lake Argentino to reach the glacier’s southern face, you will don crampons and receive a safety briefing before setting out on the ice. Accompanied by expert guides, you´ll navigate the glacier´s surface, marveling at its natural beauty. The trek concludes with a celebratory toast featuring whiskey served over glacier ice. This experience also includes a visit to the park´s panoramic walkways, providing breathtaking views of the glacier from various vantage points.
Restrictions
– Obese persons. People with obesity may not participate. In the case of adults, the World Health Organization (WHO) defines obesity as when a person has a Body Mass Index (BMI) equal to or greater than 30. The BMI is calculated by dividing the weight of a person in kilos times the square of their height in meters: (kg/m2).

-People with any degree of physical or mental disability that affects their attention, ability to walk and/or coordination.
-Suitable for people between 8 and 65 years ONLY. No exceptions.
-People with a cardiac history. Persons who suffer from central or peripheral heart or vascular disease, whose heart or capabilities are limited, or people with stents, bypass, pacemakers or other prosthesis. Example: anticoagulant medication, stage 3 varicose veins (multiple thick varicose veins that can be noticed).
