- Welcome to Amazon Ecopark Lodge
The Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge is located about an hour from Manaos, nestled on the banks of the Tarumã River, a tributary of the Rio Negro, which feeds into the Amazon River. Your journey to the lodge is a scenic and straightforward trip, beginning with a 15-minute car ride to Marina Tauá, followed by a 20-minute boat ride along the river. The lodge uses regional-style boats or motorized canoes with protective canopies for this part of the journey, offering a comfortable and immersive introduction to the Amazon.
During your stay at the lodge, you will enjoy two lunches, three dinners, and three breakfasts, all served with a selection of beverages, excluding bottled mineral water, which is available for purchase. Accommodation is provided in a traditional double room, ensuring a comfortable and authentic experience.
The lodge offers a variety of tours to immerse you in the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the Amazon. You can embark on a nature hike, visit the Monkey Forest, explore a caboclo’s house, or try your hand at fishing. In the evenings, a canoe tour allows you to experience the sounds of the jungle at night. A highlight of your stay will be the full-day tour to the Meeting of the Waters, where the dark Rio Negro and the sandy-colored Amazon River meet but do not mix.
