Your Antarctic experience begins in Ushuaia, the southernmost city of Argentina. Most precisely, the journey starts at Ushuaia’s pier where your ship awaits. Navigate through the Beagle Channel and after 2 hours, reach Puerto Williams in the Chilean Province Antártida. Take time to explore Puerto Williams and prepare to embark on the next day to cross the Drake Passage.

This is the region of the intrepid Yagánes, the native community and the first to endure the tough living conditions. From Puerto Williams, you can visit Villa Ukika inhabited by their last descendants, the Bahía Wulaia and the Martín Gusinde Museum to learn more about Yagán culture.

Leaving the Antarctic Continent behind, enjoy one last stop at Fildes Bay. Take a 1.25-mile walk to the aircraft station where you will take your flight back to Chile. On the way, pass by two research stations. At Fildes Bai landscape will start changing towards bigger pieces of iceless land. Get ready to fly over the Drake Passage and reach Punta Arenas in Chile where a transfer will take you to your hotel to spend the night.
