Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted at Santiago’s airport and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. Take the rest of the day to relax and adjust to your new surroundings.

 

  • Half-Day City Tour: Parks & San Cristóbal Hill 

This afternoon, we’ll begin exploring the best of Santiago in a 5-hour tour. Starting with a walk through Forestal Park, a cultural hub that’s central to city life. From there, we’ll head to the bohemian Bellavista neighborhood, famous for its colorful streets, lively restaurants, and bars.

Next, we’ll take the Cable Car up to Santiago Metropolitan Park, the second-highest point in the city. From here, enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Andes mountains and the city below. We’ll visit the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception and take in the best viewpoints of Santiago. 

The day will end with a peaceful stroll through Bicentennial Park, one of the largest green areas in Santiago.

From Santiago to Puerto Natales

Puerto Natales City Tour

 

Today, we’ll transfer you to Santiago Airport for your flight to Puerto Natales, the gateway to the stunning Torres del Paine. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to your hotel where you can settle in and unwind.

Puerto Natales offers a peaceful atmosphere, with quiet streets, cozy lodges, and panoramic views of fjords and towering mountains. It’s the perfect base to begin your Patagonia adventure, with the breathtaking Torres del Paine National Park just waiting to be explored.

Optional Tour to Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers
 

There’s no scheduled tour for today, but we highly recommend joining a spectacular navigation to the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers! Hop aboard a fully-equipped boat for a 3-hour sail through the Last Hope Channel.

Along the way, enjoy views of hidden waterfalls, and cozy up with a warm cup of coffee on board. Keep an eye out for wildlife, like the playful toninas (Magellanic dolphins) and sea lions near Punta Lobos.

The boat will take you to El Toro Port, where you’ll embark on a 1-hour guided hike along the forest and lagoon shore to Serrano Glacier. Afterward, relax with a delicious Patagonian lunch and a whiskey toast at Perales Ranch, before heading back to Puerto Natales to end this unforgettable day.

Day 3

Full-Day Torres del Paine Tour

  • Depart from Puerto Natales for Torres del Paine 

Today, we’ll embark on a full-day journey to the stunning Torres del Paine National Park. Your adventure starts with a scenic drive through the Patagonian steppe to Villa Cerro Castillo, the capital of the Torres del Paine commune. Along the way, admire the diverse landscapes, including Magellanic forests, glacial valleys, and towering mountain ranges.

We’ll visit the iconic viewpoints of Lake Sarmiento, with panoramic views of the Paine Mountain Range. From there, we’ll head to Laguna Amarga, a favorite habitat for flamingos, before continuing into the heart of Torres del Paine National Park.

The next stops will include: Lake Nordenskjöld, Salto Grande Viewpoint, Pehoé Viewpoint, Weber Bridge, Paine River, Grey Lake, where you’ll have time for lunch and to explore the surrounding area.

After a day filled with incredible landscapes, we’ll head out of the park through the southern section, and visit the Milodón Cave Natural Monument, famous for its paleontological and archaeological significance.

Day 4

Full-Day Grey Glacier Navigation

Today we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Natales and head towards Torres del Paine National Park. After arriving at Hotel Lago Grey, we’ll prepare for a 3-hour boat trip on Lake Grey.

 

  • Grey Glacier Navigation

Enjoy the stunning Patagonian scenery as we cruise through Lake Grey, with views of floating icebergs, lush forests, and towering mountains. The boat will get you up close to the Grey Glacier, offering a chance to observe its vast blue walls.

After the navigation, we’ll take the same route back to the parking area where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Puerto Natales after a 10-hours day-tour.

Puerto Natales to El Calafate

Day 6

Full-Day Mayo Spirit Trek

  • Explore Los Glaciares National Park

After an early breakfast, we’ll drive you to the stunning Los Glaciares National Park, located about 50 miles from El Calafate. Once there, we’ll board the Cruz del Sur vessel and begin our exploration of the Canal de los Témpanos in Lake Argentino.

 

  • Hiking and Glacier Views

Our first stop will be Bahía Toro, where you’ll take a short interpretive hike through the Andean Patagonian forest to a waterfall. We’ll then head to Cerro Negro, where you’ll walk along a river to the base of the Black Glacier. After spending time here, we’ll board the boat again and head toward the Perito Moreno Glacier.

 

  • Perito Moreno Glacier

 We’ll disembark at Puerto Perito Moreno to visit the famous glacier catwalks. Enjoy free time to explore the area and take in the glacier from various viewpoints.

After an 8-hours day-trip we will transfer you to your hotel in El Calafate.
