Punta Arenas is the capital of the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica Region. It was founded in 1848 and located on the shores of the Strait of Magellan. With this tour we will visit its main streets and avenues; Cerro Mirador, from where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the city, the Port, the Strait of Magellan and Tierra del Fuego Island. We will continue our journey to the Plaza de Armas; the Municipal Cemetery and finally we will visit the Chilean replica of the Nao Victoria, a full-scale replica of the 16th Century ship lead by Ferdinand Magellan.
Walk through Punta Arenas City and visit the Nao Victoria, a reproduction of the of the original caravel commanded by Ferdinand Magellan.
