At the appropriate time, you will go to the cooking class place on your own, located in the center of a cozy and quiet Buenos Aires neighborhood.
Franco will be waiting for you to enjoy this experience. We will start learning about Traditional Mate, paired with an Alfajor. Then, we will have the cooking class where we will prepare and learn traditional recipes, their history and origins.
We will cook a four-step menu:
1- Chipá, a really tasty recipe from the north of Argentina. Small breads filled with cheese and made with yucca starch will gives a unique texture you will not forget.
2 -Meat Empanadas, one of the most desired and craved dishes in Argentina. We will learn how to make the dough from scratch and then also both the filling and folding.
3 – Humita Stew & Chimichurri, a traditional recipe originally from the Andean area of Latin America. It is a dish based in corn with different vegetables, spices and cheese. We will also learn to prepare one of the most famous sauces in Argentina: Chimichurri.
4 – Dulce de leche Crepes, a classic and wonderful dessert. Thin pancakes filled with lots of our delicious Dulce de leche, then “burnt” with sugar.
Finally, following Argentina´s traditions, we will sit all together at the table and share the meal paired with local wines in a nice and friendly environment.
Once the experience is over, you will go back to your hotel on your own.
