Trips where there are excursions in nature that require physical effort, such as walking, climbing, kayaking, rafting, horseback riding, etc. are considered active.
Patagonia is an active destination par excellence. There are many options to explore nature in an active way. There are also active tours in Mendoza, northern Argentina and Buenos Aires, such as bike tours.
Everyone who is willing to be in motion with the body can do an active tour, if you prefer to be seated in a vehicle these tours are not the best option for you. Anyway, there are different intensities of active tours, low, moderate and high.
Clothes that are comfortable, suitable for being on the move and in nature. Comfortable shoes, pants and a T-shirt. It is also recommended to have a coat, sunscreen and sunglasses. Don’t forget the rechargeable water bottle.
There are active tours for everyone, from low intensity, to moderate and high demand.

Say Hueque personalized an amazing 9 day trip to El Calafate, El Chalten, Argentina and Puerto Natales in January-February 2020, taking care of all the logistics (hotels, transfers and tours). We wanted a balance of independent travel and organized small group tours so Karen arranged just the right combination. My only wish is to have stayed a day longer at each town. We did our own day hikes from El Chalten and guided day hikes in Torres del Paine and a day tour to Perrito Moreno Glacier.
Lorraine and I want to thank you for having put together such a marvelous vacation for us. We were amazed that so many connections and pick-ups were perfectly organized so that everything went so smoothly including all 5 internal flights. We enjoyed all the activities and all the hotels. We trekked to the base of Fitzroy and to the base of the Torres in Torres del Paine. We thoroughly enjoyed all the guides and all the towns and cities we visited. We saw some of the most beautiful landscapes we have ever seen and felt that everyday was an adventure. We are home now and already miss Argentina and Chile. Thank you again for a truly memorable experience, Bob MacKenzie and Lorraine Chiappetta
Say Hueque had very good opinions from their clients. The booking process went quite smooth. I got reply to every of my questions and on time. My Travel Advisor was always very helpful, always trying his best. First I want to point out that I was satisfied by all hotel I stayed and it's not easy to specify which on was my favorite one and least favorite. I think that just sligtly less than other hotels I enjoyed the hotel I stayed in Puerto Natales - Amerindia Hotel. And I would indicate Austral Hotel as my favorite. But I really enjoyed all of the hotels I stayed and have no complains. It's really difficult for me to indicate my favorite excursion, because I loved all of them, I enjoyed every single moment there. But if you push me to choose from which I have best memories I would say: trekking en El Chalten a Laguna de los Tres, Canal de Beagle Crucero and Experiencia Glaciares Gourmet. And trekking to Base de las Torres. I enjoyed everything in Patagonia!!! It's the most beautiful part of the world. I had great holidays and I will always recommend your company to others. Many, many thanks for all arrangements of my trip! It was a wonderful time in that lovely part of the Earth.
We chose Say Hueque because of the good offerings and prompt feedback, addressing all out concerns. We thank Patricio Rapaport for his attention and encouragement. The highlight of working with Say Hueque was seeing amazing places. Our favourite hotel was Senderos Hosteria in El Chalten, it was friendly, helpful and intimate. All hotels were good. Our favourite excursion was Ascencio Valley in Torres del Paine: beautiful, very helpful guides and exciting encounter with puma. I shall say Vincenzo Muzio and Valeria at Rio Serrano Hotel were very helpful. In general, all was good.
We heard first about Say Hueque from friends who booked similar trip with you. We decided to work with you based on friends recommendation. The highlights of our trip were hiking in El Chalten & Parque Torres del Paine and Perito Moreno. Our favourite excursion was Perito Moreno. All hotels were good but if I had to choose my favourite, it would be Rosa De Los Vientos - cozy and warm interior & Chalet Chapital Hostal - immaculately clean and cozy as well. There were to guides worth mentioning: Daniela ( Perito Moreno) & Facundo ( Ushuaia). If there was something we could have changed was instead of staying in Puerto Natales, we would have preferred a longer stay in Parque Torres Del Paine. Thank you for all your efforts to make our trip so enjoyable and best wishes to Say Hueque.
We were happy with our experience of booking with Say Hueque. Very happy that all our tickets bus, ferry etc were organised too. It saved us a lot of hassles. I found Say Hueque through Internet research. The responsiveness and availability of English speaking people to help book tours made us to choose to travel with you. The seamless organization was our highlight of traveling with Say Hueque. Our favorite hotel is Torres central Refugio. I would recommend booking Paine Grande Refugio instead of camping for the W trek. We were able to upgrade. But if we hadn’t been able to upgrade we would have left our last day by staying in camps which were nice but definitely not as food as the Refugio.
We cannot thank you and everyone at Say Hueque enough for the fantastic experience we had in Argentina. We will (and already have) recommended you to any of our friends looking to travel to Argentina, and Patagonia in particular. All we had to do was pack and show up! It was so easy, and so much fun. The one thing that maybe would have been helpful was if the prices for taxis/park entrances/food allowances etc. were listed in the itinerary in the local currency instead of USD, but this wasn't a big problem. There was something we loved about every hotel that we stayed at, but I think my favourite was the Cauquenes de Nimez in El Calafate... The afternoon tea, the wonderful staff, and the proximity to the wildlife reserve were the icing on the cake for this already charming and cozy place. Attached is a picture of us at the Laguna de Los Tres... We were so lucky to have such fantastic conditions! Again, thank you so much for this unforgettable experience... we absolutely cannot wait to visit again. Cheers, Shannon & Supreeti
