Enjoy a trip to one of the best places in the world for whale watching because of the extremely high concentration of whales. Spend the day touring the animal-rich Valdes Peninsula. To enter this UNESCO World Heritage site, you will cross a narrow strip of land where you will be able to see the sea on both sides. Then, work your way to Caleta Valdes, which is the home of a sea elephant colony. Continue along the road as it drops into a crescent of cliffs overlooking a bright blue bay and the village of Puerto Pyramids. During the Whale season you can take a boat ride around Golfo Nuevo for whale watching, for an additional cost.
