We have been working for more than 15 years in the development of the responsible tourism in Argentina & Chile, in order to generate the best traveler experiences.
Being local operators, we see, breathe and palpate the incredible potential of the Argentine territory. We feel love and respect for our culture and our traditions, for the majesty of our landscapes and the multifaceted beauty of our country.
Say Hueque is committed to making the world a better place. For us, as a local Argentine-operated company, this means that we not only want to help travelers to see our beautiful country, but we also want to give back a portion of our proceeds to our community.
We believe that prosperity is achieved as a unit, and therefore we seek to promote development and strengthen the future prospects of the country and society from a deep level of involvement of the company with the social problems affecting Argentina.
We trust this is the essence of being an organization of responsible tourism and for this reason, Say Solidario was launched two years ago by our company.
This project is focused on giving back to the people, culture and environment of the destinations we visit, and it represents not only Say Hueque spirit, it also represents the values and beliefs of our human resources. Our staff is committed to organizing trips and helping explorers from all over the world to discover and travel through South America, but they also invest their time to contribute in the improvement of the life of the less fortunate.
During the entire year, Say Solidario works in two programs involved with different organizations that are strongly committed to our society and to the same values we want to develop with our project.
Si pueden
Because we know that traveling opens our eyes and hearts to things we’ve never imagined, through the Say Solidario initiative one of our main missions is to bring the world of travel to kids in our community that wouldn’t usually have the opportunity.
With this end, Say Solidario has developed a partnership with local organization called Si Foundation on their “Si Pueden” program, which aims to provide local travel opportunities to these kids.
As one of Say Solidario’s monthly projects, the Si Pueden program has already provided Say Hueque with many great opportunities to help. We made guided city tours, visits to the main theaters and also visits to the most important bio park of Buenos Aires. We look forward to continuing this partnership in the future in order to increase the social inclusion .
Escuela n°53, La Ciénaga, Jujuy- Purmamarca
As Argentina is very large and diverse, there are many less-developed and under-served areas that are often overlooked. Far away from Buenos Aires, along the historic Route 40 highway, many communities live without adequatefinancial resources. One organization that seeks to assist these communities is the aptly-named FundacionRuta 40, which Say Solidario has begun to partner with on a monthly basis. Through this partnership, Say Solidario acts as a sort of godparent to an undersupplied school located in Purmamarca, a town in the northern part of Argentina. In this role, we send monthly donations to the school, so that they can buy educational supplies and offer assistanceto individual students who have specific needs.
Although these are Say Solidario’s main projects, we take part in many different events and specific causes, like collections for natural disasters, recycling campaigns, etc. If you are interested in reading more about or project of responsible tourism or being part of Say Salidario, do not hesitate to contact us to saysolidario@sayhueque.com
